Anti-Whaling Activist to be Questioned in Japan for Boarding Ship
Editor's summary:
Japan — Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirofumi Hirano told a news conference Tuesday that Japan is going to bring Sea Shepherd Conservation Society activist Peter Bethune to Japan for questioning over his secret boarding of the Japanese security vessel Shonan Maru No. 2.
Bethune boarded the Shonan Maru No. 2 Sunday and demanded that Japan repay him for the loss of the anti-whaling vessel Ady Gil, which Bethune claims the Shonan Maru No. 2 rammed and sank last month.
