Mariposa Botnet Code Writer Busted in Slovenia

Slovenia — UPDATE: The FBI, which aided the Slovenian and Spanish authorities in this international investigation, released a statement today (7/28) about the case and the arrest of Iserdo.
It has just come to light that about 10 days ago Slovenian police arrested the person allegedly responsible for writing the code behind the infamous Mariposa botnet.
The 23-year-old man, only identified by his hacker alias Iserdo, was arrested in Maribor, Slovenia along with two other people.
From The Register:
"Iserdo, who faces unspecified charges, has been released on police bail pending further inquiries."
