Lottery Scam Email Mentions Nelson Mandela and World Cup
Editor's summary:
South Africa — We just had this post yesterday about security software vendor, Symantec, warning soccer fans to be on the lookout for a significant increase in FIFA 2010 World Cup-related spam and phishing attacks in the run-up to next summer's event in South Africa. So it comes as little surprise to find this report of a scam in which people are receiving an email telling them they have won a lottery organized by the Nelson Mandela Foundation and South Africa's 2010 FIFA World Cup organizing committee.
