Chinese Mafia Suspected of Kidnapping in Argentina

Argentina — The 25-year-old son of a Chinese family that owns a chain of supermarkets in Argentina was kidnapped last week and then released by his captors on Friday (7/23), reports the Latin American Herald Tribune (LAHT).
According to the LAHT, police officials believe the Chinese mafia is responsible for the abduction, but are not sure if the family paid the $1 million ransom that was demanded.
