French Tire Workers Protesting Plant Closure Pelt Bosses with Eggs
Editor's summary:
France — Workers in France have a much more confrontational response to being fired than workers in some other nations, particularly America. First we have a post about the CEO of France's Sony division being held against his will last week until he agreed to negotiate for better severance packages for canned workers. Now a group of disgruntled employees of Germany tire company Continental AG, have protested the proposed closure of a plant by hanging their bosses in effigy, and storming into a meeting and pelting managers with eggs.
